Along with all the Star Wars “May the 4th” wishes, there is actually a very important day. May 4th is also International Firefighters Day and here are some of our favorite powder coated Firefighter projects.
Sure “May the 4th be with you” is fun, but few people know it’s International Firefighters Day. A day where we thank those that protect us and honor those that perished in the line of duty. In honor of this we wanted to share some of our favorite powder coated firefighter themed pieces.
SKULL LOGO BLACK POWDER COATED FLASK: BLACK HELMET
Although they are currently unavailable, there is no denying the awesome look of this flask.
Black Helmet™ creates high quality clothing, accessories, and equipment for firefighters. Founded by third-generation firefighter James Love, all the designs are hand drawn, and unique. You’ll find no clip art and no cheesy sayings, just images that relay the fearless, but frightening side of our job.
ETCHED YETI: BIG D CUSTOM ETCHING
We love Big D! They do great work, and this is just one more example. This Husband and Wife Team out of Ocala, FL etch all sorts of products, but technically a powder coated yeti is still a powder coated Project!
CUSTOM FIREFIGHTER SHIELD: SOURCE: FIREFIGHTERSHIELDS.COM
Although we are not entirely sure where this came from, who made it and so on, it’s a great idea and really sweet looking. We found it on Pintrest (that’s right, the site your wife/girlfriend spends way too much time on. There’s Dude Stuff too.) and had to share. If you are the owner of this pic or creator, please let us know so we can share your info!
OK, OK, OK calm down. We know a lot of this ISN’T powder coated, but we think Josh Bone at Cavella Designs is AMAZEBALLS! A firefighter himself he honors many of those who put their life on the line and does so himself. Thank you Josh!
